My Dr. Appointment went great! When he walked in he was like Sherrie you get an A+! That's makes me feel great when he says that. We talked about some problems I have been having and he just reassured me that if I just keep doing what I am everything will be okay.

He also told me that he was going to set a goal for me. When I reach 160, he will take out my port that I have to fill the lapband and put in a smaller one. PLUS... he will do a tummy tuck to take all the fat off my STOMACH! Tummy tuck here I COME!!!! I figured if I keep the rate of weight loss I am going on right now. I will be having that sugery in April! It would be so nice to not to have all the fat hanging on. It would be nice to have a flat stomach for once in my life. I have never had that at all! I am so excited!

Like I said, Here's to a NEW ME this year!

About Me

For as long as I can remember I was always heavy. I did loose some weight in High School right around my Jr year. I was looking pretty good then. I felt great and my attitude changed a lot. Then after graduating High school life changed. College, working and then getting married and then followed by 4 wonderful kids. Somewhere in there I lost myself. I didn't care any more who I was. I was always embarrassed to go to Military functions or any function Military or not with Michael because he is this skinny guy and then there was his wife. The typical Military Wife! I don't want to be that anymore.

So to change this pattern on September 7,2009 I walked into Dr. Warnock's office in Wichita Falls Texas and change that process. I started my process of having the Lapband surgery that day. It has forever changed my life. I am so grateful for Dr. Warnock and Michael for their great support. That day I made a committment to him, Michael and Myself that it would change. On October 7,2009 I had my surgery.
